Necessity is the Mother of Invention

I was saying to Jim the other day that it's too bad we couldn't afford an old camper van or motorhome so that when my brain got scrambled while traveling, that I could just go lie down and let it get back to normal.  Jim has been finding it increasingly stressful traveling with me, as my anxiety level rises, and I start clutching at doors, dashboards, and even the air.  We came up with the perfect solution, and something we could easily afford.  A single size airbed and little curtains.  We made the 3 hour trip to Ottawa on the weekend, and were delighted how well it worked for both of us.  With my headphones on and the curtains closed, my brain can drift around and sort itself out just fine.
