Fall is rolling by

I haven't had much to report lately.  I'm still trying to get used to the remerol.  It has addressed the anxiety and emotional outbursts very well, however I'm still trying to figure out the sleep pattern that accompanies this drug.  Some nights I sleep like a baby, and have no leg pains whatsoever, while other nights I lie awake all night long, with the usual burning legs.  Hopefully I'll get this figured out soon.  I'm keeping busy otherwise, organizing events here at our Seniors apartment as well as volunteering at the Seniors Outreach Center next door.

Canadian Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all our Canadian family and friends.  Jim and I are very busy today preparing our contributions to the turkey dinner in Ottawa tomorrow.  My brother Dave and his wife are having a family gathering at their place.  The weatherman is promising us a lovely autumn day to enjoy the family festivities indoors and out.  My mouth is absolutely watering when I think of all the great food that we're going to enjoy.

Even our local rabbit squirrel is getting into the festivities, as he chows down on some peanuts on our patio.

What is that?

A friend sent me this link.  This is a little clip everyone should get a chance to watch, and remember.

I'm taking 1/2 dosage of my remeron for now at the suggestion of our family doctor.  I'm at least able to stay awake for most of the day with this dosage and not be a total zombie.
