I would like to share my Journey with you. I'm 67, diagnosed 5 years ago with alzheimers, or possibly FTD (frontotemporal dementia). Jim and I live on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Two of our sons live in Ontario, two in British Columbia, one in Nova Scotia, and we have thirteen grandchildren!

Another speaking engagement
I have been asked by the Alzheimers Society of Oxford in Woodstock, Ontario to give my speech at their Changing Melody Forum in October. I'm really pleased people are finding my speech helpful and it's a good feeling to know I might be helping a few more folks on this journey.
Congratulations Mary! I am so proud to call you friend and appreciate the advocacy you do for those of us who have dementia. You are helping many to understand what it is like living with dementia. Thank you.
